Pop-in biodegradable nappy liners fit perfectly with the Pop-In nappies and can also be used with any other type of cloth nappy. Made from cornstarch PLA (Polylactide), a biodegradable thermoplastic derived from lactic acid which is truly compostable. To change, simply flush the poo and dispose of the liners in the bin or compost.

Liners are particularly recommended for night time, to keep moisture away from your baby's skin, preventing nappy rash, and helping baby (and you) sleep soundly. If your baby gets rash and you require a barrier cream it is recommended to use a liner with cloth nappies. Barriers creams leave a thick oily coating that is hard to remove through washing, which can repel urine making the nappy leak. Most nappy manufacturers advise the use of liners with any and all types of cream.

Each liner measures 19 x 27 cm.

Creators of an award-winning range of modern cloth nappies, baby carriers and parenting accessories, Close believe that parenting does not need to be complicated, overwhelming or pressured and because you love your little one, all the ingredients are already in place. All you need is the inspiration.

The factory where Pop-In production takes place is co-owned by a Close Parent director. This means that unlike many other companies producing in China, Close are able to have much control over social responsibility issues normally faced. They have a chef who provides all the workers with a cooked lunch daily in the canteen. Close Parent directors make visits twice a year. They are a very skilled and happy team and the Chinese owners are extremely fair and caring employers. Management ensure that the staff (many are family members) are remunerated fairly and they get more holidays than most employees in China. They also arrange regular company outings.

Close Parent pays a very fair price for production of the goods to ensure the working conditions and social responsibility of the factory can be upheld. Indeed price is not the primary reason for product of the nappies in Xuchang. All the fabrics used are produced there. The bamboo fabric is not produced readily in Europe and would therefore have to be imported for production which only adds to the carbon footprint of manufacturing.
